A Maned wolf is a pack-dwelling animal native to Earth that is in the modern times since humanity appeared on earth.

The maned wolf is a large, four-legged carnivorous mammal. It derives its name from the characteristic mane on its neck which stands erect when it scents danger. Its body is covered with long, reddish-brown hair. The mouth, the back and the tail of the animal is black. The tip of the tail, chin and throat are sometimes white.
Evolution[edit | edit source]
Since humanity has appeared earth, the animal has discovered, and the animal evolved to live, travel and hunt in packs rather than being solitary. They became built like the long-extinct Dire Wolf (Canis dirus) of the prehistoric times.
